Chris serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Evergreen, a global consumer products company. He leads the Company's financial operations including financial reporting, bank relations, treasury, and risk management. He has led the acquisition and integration of eight businesses and the divestitures of three non-core segments. Prior to Evergreen, Chris was an investment banker with Harris Williams & Co. where he provided merger & acquisition and private capital advisory services to middle market companies and private equity groups.
Chris also serves as the Chief Investment Officer of the Xu Family Office. Under his stewardship, the Xu family has built a diversified portfolio of venture capital, private equity, real estate, public equities, and fixed income investments.
Chris is an active investor in start-ups and co-hosts Richmond's Salon for Entrepreneurs. He has served as a keynote speaker and panelist at numerous conferences and events, covering business improvement, corporate strategy, and professional development topics. He is a graduate of the Williams School of Commerce, Economics, and Politics at Washington & Lee University.
